Attack On Titan tells the story of humanity fighting against their predators, the titans. However, when the main character, Eren, became a titan himself, his comrades realized how little they knew about their enemy. They went to search for these answers and reclaim their world.
Most characters in Attack On Titan were revealed to be titans or became titans as the series progressed. However, there are many characters in the manga that are just as powerful as Eren, Reiner, Zeke, and the other main characters that have titan abilities. 10 Historia
When she was first introduced, Historia seemed to be one of the weakest members of the 104th Cadet Corps. She relied on Ymir and was devastated after losing her. However, she has since become the queen of Paradis, killed her father, Rod Reiss, when he turned into a titan, and does what is best for those around her. Though she may not be fighting these days as she is pregnant and busy ruling Paradis, she was one of the Survey Corps' most important members and became even stronger due to all of the tragedies she overcame.
9 Theo
Theo Magath led the Warrior Unit that the Eldian children are in. If it weren't for his training, Zeke, Reiner, Bertholdt, Annie, and the rest of the Eldian children would not have become so strong. Though Theo was ignorant and stubborn, he ended up sacrificing himself with Keith so that those they trained could join each other in saving the world.
8 Petra
Petra was a member of Levi Squad who had 10 kills and 48 assists. She was one of the most caring members of the group and always put her faith in her comrades, especially Levi. After she died, Levi even learned that she was in love with him and wanted to be his wife.
She was killed by the Female Titan shortly after she was introduced. The Female Titan charged at her and crushed her to death. Though fans didn't know her for long, they were devastated when she died.
7 Oluo
Another member of Levi Squad that died to the Female Titan was Oluo. He had 39 kills and 9 assists. Despite killing many titans, he was very foolish and tried to intimidate Eren when they first met. He would often bite his tongue when the group traveled on their horses, making it hard for his comrades to take him seriously. After the Female Titan killed Petra, as well as Eld and Gunther, Oluo tried to get revenge. However, she kicked him so hard that he passed away immediately.
6 Hange
Unlike most of the other characters in the series, Hange cared for the titans and was fascinated by them. She wanted to research them and treated her experiments well. Never showing any fear, she was one of the strongest members of the Survey Corps and became the commander after Erwin died. She got more serious as the story progressed and became stronger in the process. She ended up sacrificing herself to give her comrades extra time to get away from Eren and his army of Colossal titans.
5 Kenny
Though he may not have been a titan, Kenny killed many people in his life. However, after befriending the royal family, he became the captain of the Anti-Personnel Control Squad.
When Levi was a kid, his mother died. Kenny raised him for a while and taught him how to fight before he abandoned the boy. He eventually gave Levi the injection that could turn people into titans, deciding to die after telling Levi that he was his uncle.
4 Erwin
The former commander of the Survey Corps was considered to be the best leader they had. He always did what had to be done despite feeling guilty, knowing that he was responsible for his soldiers' deaths. He faced many injuries but always led those that were under his command, even as he was bleeding on the battlefield. He encouraged them to be just as strong as he was, both mentally and physically. Levi eventually had to choose between Erwin and Armin on who to give the injection he got from Kenny to. Deciding that it was time for Erwin to be at peace, he turned Armin into a titan.
3 Mike
Before Levi joined the Survey Corps, Mike was known as humanity's strongest soldier. He had strange habits, such as smelling people that he first meets. Despite his quirks, he was incredibly powerful and faced every challenge that came his way. He died early on in the series when he encountered the Beast Titan, who controlled other titans and used them to tear Mike into pieces as he was devoured.
2 Mikasa
After her parents were murdered, Mikasa joined Eren in avenging the killers. From that moment on, she became one of the strongest characters in the series and always protected Eren. She was the most skilled member of the 104th Cadet Corps and became one of the most respected soldiers in the Survey Corps. As the manga is almost over, she is still one of the most powerful characters and is preparing to do anything she may have to in order to save the world, including defeat the person she loves most.
1 Levi
Humanity's strongest soldier is Levi. After Kenny abandoned him, Levi became a criminal himself and joined the Survey Corps to kill Erwin. However, after titans took his friends' lives, he became loyal to the commander and an inspiration to his soldiers. He became the captain of his own squad and made a lot of the Survey Corps' decisions when Erwin was unable to. He overcame many injuries and losses but is determined to stop Eren from destroying humanity, just as he promised when the two first met.
