Attack on Titan thrives on the slow creep of information that it offers its readers and viewers. It took 3 entire seasons to finally understand who the true antagonists of this series was, and even that reveal was nothing more than misdirection to set Eren up as the final antagonist.

The Cart Titan is another character that Hajime Isayama teased fans with by slowly disseminating information to his audience. When Pieck is first introduced, it is not entirely clear that she is even an intelligent Titan or rather just an abnormal pack mule. Of course, fans now know that Pieck is the most intelligent of all the titans, but there is still some information that may have slipped past even the most dedicated Attack on Titan fans.

10 Pieck's Astrological Sign Is Leo

Attack on Titan - Pieck

It is unlikely that Pieck's practical and analytical demeanor would guide her toward astrology, but for fans who are interested, Pieck falls under the sign of Leo. Pieck rarely exhibits the attributes common of Leo, but no one can argue with the fact that she is a queen. If only the Marleyans saw her in the same way fans of Attack on Titan see her.

9 She Supports Marley But Wants To See The Eldians Given More Freedom

Pieck Chained To Gabi Attack on Titan

Eren Yeager's insane attempt at omnicide sidelines a number of secondary and tertiary characters' motivations, but that doesn't mean that someone like Pieck doesn't have her own set of goals and aspirations. In fact, Pieck is one of the only characters in Attack on Titan that both respects the Marleyan people and wishes to see the Eldians granted more freedoms.

She embraces these ideals by working side by side with Commander Magath throughout her career and demonstrating her intelligence in order to prove that Eldians are more than just second-class citizens. Pieck still hopes for a peaceful resolution, which is why she is willing to put aside her goals in order to stop Eren.

8 She Can Stay In Her Cart Titan Form For 2 Months

The Cart Titan is well known for its endurance, but many don't know that Pieck can stay in Titan form for 2 months at a time. Pieck is able to stay in Titan form for so long that her muscle memory acts out Titan-like movements even when she is in human form.

This endurance is beyond impressive, considering that most Titan Shifters can only hold their Titan form for a few hours at most.

7 Her Birthday Falls On August 5th, Though She Doesn't Have Very Many Left

All the readers out there with August birthdays can celebrate knowing that Pieck Finger was born in the same month, on August 5th. Although, there was a moment in time where viewers of Attack on Titan may have believed Pieck's birthday fell in February thanks to a small translation error that confused Falco with Pieck.

6 Her Intelligence & Endurance More Than Make Up For Her Physical Weaknesses In Titan Form

AOT Pieck, Reiner, and Porco

Many fans of Attack on Titan believe that the Cart Titan is the weakest of all 9 Intelligent Titans, but Pieck's sharp wit and endurance in both Titan and human form make her one of the most, if not the most, powerful Titan shifter in the entire series.

Of course, there are titans that could decimate Pieck in a one-on-one battle of strength, but Pieck knows better than most when and where aggressive action is necessary. This is why she has been able to survive as long as she has in a world where just one mistake can lead to death.

5 Pieck Joined The Warriors To Save Her Father

The majority of the Warrior candidates embrace the same mindset that Gabi shows viewers in Season 4 of Attack on Titan - glory for Marley and the Eldian people.

Pieck is different from Gabi. Although she is interested in the freedom of the Eldian people, the main reason she applied to become a warrior candidate was to save her sick father. As an Eldian living in Marley, Pieck's father was not given access to the resources he needed to survive his sickness. So, Pieck sacrificed her own life in order to save her father and avoided the God complex that afflicted the other warriors as soon as they inherited their Titan abilities.

4 The Cart Titan Has A Variety Of Accessories

This fact might not be such an obscure one, considering that fans of the anime have already seen two different attachments that the Cart Titan can carry, but it should be noted that Pieck's titan can be outfitted in a nearly infinite number of ways.

The manga shows Pieck donning an anti-titan artillery canon, but what if the Islanders of Paradis had managed to outfit the Cart Titan with specialized anti-ODM gear?

3 Her Mother Died When She Was A Child

While many fans justify Eren's actions in Season 4 of the anime by listing off his traumatic past, they fail to acknowledge the fact that trauma does not justify violence. Pieck is proof of the fact that losing a family member and being treated as a second-class citizen her entire life does not inherently incite violence or hatred.

Despite losing her mother and being forced to sacrifice her own lifespan in order to gain access to medical supplies for her father, Pieck still fights for peace.

2 The Cart Titan Was Originally Meant To Be A Middle-Aged Man

Pieck Finger had her own fan group well before she ever revealed her human face in Season 4 of the anime thanks to the goofy proportions of the Cart Titan. In fact, few could have predicted that the Cart Titan would turn out to be a cute anime girl considering the way most titans borrow features from the titan shifter.

This discrepancy between the Cart Titan and Pieck is the result of Hajime Isayama's original plan to cast the Cart Titan as a middle-aged man named Oliver Pieck. Luckily, Isayama's editors talked him into creating Pieck Finger instead, and the rest is history.
