Mikasa Ackerman was a proficient scout who saved Eren's life on dozens of occasions in the Attack On Titan universe. Her unique lineage granted her commendable physical strength, and she was one of the most talented soldiers in service to Paradis, right up there next to Captain Levi himself.

While the woman might be a prodigy in her own series, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime presents an entirely new roster of threats. By matching her against its characters and gauging her success against them, we can better appreciate Mikasa's versatility in combat - or lack thereof.

10 COULD BEAT: Bug-Eaten's Deadly Projectiles Can Be Deflected By Metal

Anime Bug eaten from jojo

While those foolish enough to attempt catching Bug-Eaten's projectiles will be reduced to a meat-like sludge, it is possible to deflect with metal (as proven when Josuke shielded himself with a frying pan).

Considering that Mikasa could dodge bullets from point-blank range during the struggle against Kenny's anti-ODM forces, it follows that she could either deflect the rat's shots with the blunt of her sword or simply weave past them entirely. Once the distance had been closed, Bug-Eaten has no means of protecting himself.

9 WOULD LOSE TO: Vanilla Ice Can Absorb Mikasa's Attacks & Her Along With Them

vanilla ice from jojo

Vanilla Ice's "Cream" Stand enshrouds him in a void-like substance that consumes anything nearby. Although he cannot see when completely submerged, he would only need to remain in this state temporarily for Mikasa to exhaust all of her thunder spears against him.

Afterward, she would be powerless to resist the villain's inexorable attack. Given his vampire physiology, she would fail to kill him even in the miraculous event that she caught him with his defenses down (as Polnareff's Silver Chariot was equally impotent before he was exposed to sunlight).

8 COULD BEAT: Koichi's Reverb Is Only Useful In Close Quarters

Koichi and Echoes in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Koichi's "Reverb Act 3" was able to crush anything in a five-meter radius under the oppressive force of gravity, with its power being magnified as he drew closer to his targets. Unfortunately, this isn't particularly useful against Mikasa due to the mobility her ODM gear affords her.

Should she fling two thunder spears at the Morioh student simultaneously, he could only mitigate one as he was struck by the other. Given his low durability in the encounter against Yoshikage Kira, it follows that the Scout's weapon would be devastatingly effective.

7 WOULD LOSE TO: Kars Could Shrug Off All Of Mikasa's Attacks With Ease

Jojos Kars Become The Ultimate Life Form shining brightly

Ultimate Kars had unfathomable durability, capable of resisting the automated gunfire of a fighter jet and surviving for over thirty seconds from inside a volcano. Subsequently, the explosive force of Mikasa's thunder spears would be relatively trivial in comparison.

Fast enough to keep up with a plane and having mastered the power of flight, he would be able to severe Mikasa's ODM cables easily, forcing her to the ground where she might be more easily disposed of.

6 COULD BEAT: Caesar's Hamon Bubbles Are Relatively Slow & Lack Distance

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Caesar Zeppeli Posing

Caesar Zeppeli was able to channel Hamon into bubbles that he could create from his fingertips. They served as deadly projectiles that were devastating against the Pillar Men and had formidable offensive potential even toward humans.

However, the bubbles themselves were relatively slow and lacked both the range and force of Mikasa's thunder spears. Should she simply overwhelm him with firepower, the intrepid young hero would have no way to defend himself and suffer a death as excruciating as the one against Wamuu.

5 WOULD LOSE TO: Rohan Kishibe Could Shut Mikasa Down Through A Glance At Heaven's Door

rohan kishibe jojo confident smile

Rohan Kishibe's "Heaven's Door" may not be able to physically reach Mikasa on account of her ODM gear, but he wouldn't need to in order to defeat her. A flash of his manga can emulate the same effect, opening Ackerman's face as a book he can edit.

Since she is not privy to his Stand's abilities, the Scout would have no reason not to face her enemy directly and succumb to his formidable ability. Rohan's natural athleticism would also be conducive to his success since it ensures he could retreat from her until he had an opportunity to use his Stand.

4 COULD BEAT: Okuyasu's Stand May Be Deadly, But He's Clumsy As A Fighter

Okuyasu in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Okuyasu's "the Hand" would allow him to erase the distance between himself and Mikasa to confront her directly. Although this would be an excellent means of limiting her speed, his opponent's base reflexes vastly surpass his own.

Considering that Nijimura is an inexperienced fighter with famously low intellect, Mikasa would only need to dodge a single one of his attacks before impaling his throat upon her sword and ending the fight.

3 WOULD LOSE TO: Melone's Stand Could Butcher Mikasa From A Safe Distance

Melone smirking while on the phone jojo

Melone's "Baby Face" Stand was capable of dicing up targets with the briefest exposure. It was used to steal Giorno's throat, rapidly asphyxiating him and nearly guaranteeing the villain's success.

Considering that the La Squadra member can control it from range, he would safely be able to engage Mikasa without worrying for his own safety. Since whatever damage Baby Face suffers is not reflected back at him, a melee engagement would put the scout at much greater risk than the villain.

2 COULD BEAT: Jack The Ripper's Straightforward Arsenal Is Nothing Mikasa Hasn't Seen Before

Anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Jack The Ripper Knives

Jack the Ripper was able to throw blades he stored in his body at his targets, assailing them with dozens of deadly projectiles. However, Mikasa is no stranger to sword combat and was even capable of holding her own against Levi, whose skills were legendary across Paradis.

While the usefulness of Ackerman's swords may be questionable given the undead physiology of her enemy and his conspicuous immunity to piercing attacks, thunder spears would be a particularly effective alternative. They would obliterate his abhorrent body, baptizing it in fire.

1 WOULD LOSE TO: Secco Could Lie In Wait Until An Opportunity Presents Itself

Anime JOJO-Secco

Secco's "Oasis" Stand allowed him to submerge inside solid ground and surf through it with ease. This would render Mikasa's ODM gear worthless, as she would need to land in order to even begin finding him.

Once she had, the villain could erupt from the earth and drag her beneath it. Even if Mikasa was agile enough to avoid his immediate assault, she would lose a direct melee confrontation as Secco is powerful enough to dent steel with his bare hands and can punch so rapidly that his fists become a blur.
