Debuting in 2009 from creator Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan is set in a world where large humanoids known as Titans roam the world, consuming anything in their path. The Titans have a rather iconic look thanks to resembling a human musculature system and having a rather voracious appetite. Standing between the Titans and the remnants of humanity who live in large walled off sections is the military. Series protagonist Eren Yeager and his friends join the Survey Corps to combat the Titans years after an attack left Eren's mother killed.
