Sasha looks ready for battle in a new Attack on Titan cosplay.

The new look at the character comes from Chilean cosplayer and professional hair and makeup artist Fran Martínez. The cosplayer recreated Sasha with her post-timeskip appearance, when she trades in the standard Survey Corps uniform for the stealthy black bodysuit and deadly anti-personnel vertical maneuvering gear that the series' heroes wear during the conflict against Marley. Martínez completes the character with her trademark bolt-action rifle, which she demonstrated a deadly proficiency with during the war.

In addition to portraying other Attack on Titan characters, including Sasha's comrade, Mikasa Ackerman, Martínez has also portrayed a number of other iconic anime heroines, including multiple costumes based on Jujutsu Kaisen's pain-flinging exorcist and the 2022 Crunchyroll award winner for Best Girl, Nobara Kugisaki.
Sasha was also recently highlighted in a new art drop from MAPPA, the animation studio behind Attack on Titan: The Final Season, which looked back on the younger versions of the sniper and her best friend, Connie, as they playfully bickered while training to become members of the Eldian military.
Fans are already probably aware that Sasha won't appear in the anime series' final run of episodes, entitled Attack on Titan: The Final Season - Part 2 which premiered in Japan and on international streaming services on Jan. 9, so the new cosplay and art serves as a good way of remembering the fan-favorite character. The series' final half season will adapt the last remaining chapters of Hajime Isayama's original manga, which came to a controversial end in early 2021. While the manga's finale divided the fanbase, the anime adaptation of that story remains as popular as ever, with a market research firm naming the series the "most in-demand show of 2021." The show quickly made good on that description, as the amount of fans who attempted to watch the first episode of The Final Season - Part 2 on its premiere date were enough to briefly bring the anime streaming service Crunchyroll offline, as the company's servers were overwhelmed by the massive influx of viewers.
In addition to Crunchyroll, the simulcast of the series is also available on Hulu and Funimation. The English dub of The Final Season - Part 2 is set to make its streaming premiere on Funimation's own streaming service and Crunchyroll on Feb. 13. The show will also be broadcast on Adult Swim's Toonami block, beginning on Feb. 12.
