Porco was the Jaw Titan and a formidable warrior in the service of Marley. By balancing a vicious bite that could rip apart literally anything with mobility the mobility to bound across cities in seconds, he was one of the most dangerous characters the heroes of the Attack On Titan universe fought against.
Considering he only entered combat at the beginning of the anime's final act, Galliard's strength may be mysterious to some. Through matching him against the series' other characters, we can better ascertain how formidable of a threat he actually is to overcome in battle.
10 WOULD LOSE TO: Mikasa Carries Several Thunder Spears To Blow Porco Up
Mikasa's physical strength isn't exclusively useful for ripping through titan skin. It also allows her to carry several thunder spears without compromising her mobility.
Though Porco would be virtually impossible for a typical scout to latch onto via their ODM gear due to his high mobility and frenetic movements, Mikasa's affinity for ranged weapons ensures that she wouldn't need to. The woman unleashed five spears consecutively at Lara Tybur to inflict devastating damage and could destroy the Jaw with similar ease.
9 COULD BEAT: Pieck Couldn't Outrun Porco & Would Be Devoured Easily
Even giving Pieck the most charitable advantages of being mounted with a massive gun and manned by Marleyan soldiers, she wouldn't stand a chance of defeating Porco. He was fast enough to dodge Eren's War Hammer spikes and weaved past bullets with equal skill during the battle for Fort Slava.
Once he closed the distance with Pieck, he could chew apart the metal frame protecting her before shredding the nape of her neck. Considering that Galliard could crack Lara's crystal shell, standard steel should bode a trivial obstacle by comparison.
8 WOULD LOSE TO: The Reiss Titan Is Even Larger Than The Colossal & Could Repel Porco
At a hundred and twenty meters tall, the Reiss titan was twice the height of the Colossal and with strength to match. Considering his sheer mass, Porco would have a steep obstacle to climb if he sought to gouge the nape of his foe's neck.
Considering that Rod secretes boiling steam from his entire body and is fully capable of defending himself through feral titan intuition, it's unlikely that Galliard could make it to his shoulders before being repelled.
7 COULD BEAT: Sasha's Arrows Are Accurate But Lack Striking Power
Sasha was a brilliant sharpshooter who could shoot down enemies protected from inside a bunker and even poach Kenny Ackerman's military police across the battlefield. This entails that she might be able to strike one of Porco's weak points as he's barreling toward her, such as his eye or the side of his jaw.
However, neither would be sufficient in fully staunching his advance, and he is capable of covering much more ground than she is in a short span of time even with the benefit of ODM gear. Considering that Braus couldn't get the angle she needed to destroy Galliard's nape, her death is inevitable.
6 WOULD LOSE TO: Eren Has Defeated Porco In A Single Punch
While Eren needed to be saved from Porco by Levi at the battle for Marley, the antihero ensured that he wouldn't need such assistance again. During Marley's invasion of Paradis, he defeated Galliard with a single punch in two separate instances while simultaneously contending with Reiner.
Though the Jaw Titan is fast enough to dodge the War Hammer's spikes and could dart away from Eren's punches, he'd have no means of harming him without getting close enough to be struck down. In this instance, Eren's taller titan and superior reach guarantee his success in the fight.
5 COULD BEAT: Lara's Defensive Crystal Couldn't Protect Her
The War Hammer Titan was fearsome for its natural defenses and the viscous fluid it could transform into weapons. However, Lara's preference for arms such as mallets or swords makes it relatively easy to dodge (as proven by Mikasa), and she isn't protected by her defensive shell against this particular opponent.
Should Galliard carefully weave through Tybur's attacks and chomp down on the tether connecting her with her titan, her crystal cocoon would not save her from being cannibalized with a single bite.
4 WOULD LOSE TO: Kenny Ackerman Balances Levi's Skill With Ranged Projectiles
Kenny Ackerman's projectiles are both faster and more devastating than Sasha's arrows, proving that they'd have greater success against Porco. A single bullet was powerful enough to punch through crystals and even shred much of a human torso.
Subsequently, it follows that he'd be able to bring Galliard down by shooting him through the throat as he continues to retreat with his ODM gear. Considering that he has access to a burst of Ackerman strength, he might also be able to mount Galliard while he is lunging and slash the nape of his neck.
3 COULD BEAT: Reiner's Armor Would Only Encumber Him Against The Jaw
Reiner's armor may protect him from mundane attacks such as the blades of Scouts and the cannon fire of enemies, but it's also restricting for him. He failed to defeat a single member of the 104th during the second battle for Shiganshina on account of his comparatively slow movements.
Since Porco's jaws have crushed much harder substances than the steel plates around Reiner's body, it follows that he could lunge for and rip off his head before Reiner had an opportunity to retaliate.
2 WOULD LOSE TO: Zeke's Attacks Have Spread & Destructive Power
While Galliard is capable of dodging most attacks and has incredible mobility, his size limits the extent of what he is able to obviate. There isn't a conceivable way he could avoid the full spread of Zeke's barrage after he had crushed and flung a round of boulders.
Considering that Zeke's projectiles were powerful enough to destroy Reiner's armor and pulverize buildings, one fling of his arm should be sufficient in capitalizing on the Jaw's low durability and downing him.
1 COULD BEAT: Ymir Is A Weaker Jaw Titan With Less Impressive Feats
Porco is a superior Jaw titan to Ymir in every conceivable metric. He was able to dodge Eren where she was caught by standard pure titans and reenter his titan state after having it obliterated (unlike his opponent, who required almost as much time as Reiner before transforming again).
Additionally, Porco has formal training as a warrior candidate and has fought more campaigns in the service of Marley. This supplements his impressive titan abilities with practical experience that Ymir couldn't match through the rudimentary instruction of Keith Shadis.
