Atlus is one of the most popular video game studios in the gaming industry. It is responsible for game series such as Shin Megami Tensei and its spinoff series Persona. Since the release of Persona 5, Atlus has received a special spotlight that it never had before. Each game that Atlus releases now gets plenty of attention, and those games may have been overlooked before.
That doesn't mean that Atlus' previous games were bad. All the Persona games, fans argue, are masterpieces. Of course, not all of Atlus' games are accessible in modern-day gaming. Because of this, many people hope that Atlus would adapt its video games into anime, similar to what it did with some of its Persona games. Many fans want to invest themselves in the worlds and stories that Atlus makes, and an anime adaptation of those stories would be ideal.10 Catherine: Full Body Tells A Mature Story About Relationships
Catherine: Full Body tells the story of Vincent and his girlfriend, who pushes for them to get engaged. Stressed and wanting to take things slow, Vincent goes out drinking and wakes up next to a stranger. The story continues as he tries to push the stranger away, wanting to avoid trouble, but he continues to find himself waking up next to her. The story is interesting and compelling and players get invested in Vincent as he tries to get out of his situation. Such a story would be great as an anime. The game has some 2D style drawn cutscenes, displaying how great the story and its characters would look in an anime series.
9 A Demon's Souls Anime Would Give Players Time To Relax
Surprisingly enough, Demon's Souls (2009) can be found on Atlus' website of games that they helped develop. Demon's Souls was the first of the Souls games and a huge influence in the gaming industry. It's known for being one of the hardest games in the world.
Though everyone should at least attempt to tackle Demon's Souls, it would be a nice breather for players to sit down and watch an anime adaptation of the story and world-building without the worry of dying.
8 Persona 5 Strikers Continues The Persona 5 Story
Even though Persona 5 has an anime adaptation, there is a lot of story left that could be told in a second season. Persona 5 Strikers plays out as both a sequel and a spinoff to the original version of Persona 5, reuniting all the fan-favorite characters as they go on a road trip. An anime adaptation of this story would be well-received as many people could be introduced to the new character, Sophie, who is just as wholesome as Haru. Also, fans are keen to see the Phantom Thieves return for another run.
7 Shin Megami Tensei V Has A Story That's Ready For Anime
Shin Megami Tensei V was one of the most hyped-up games of 2021. After the blowup in popularity that was Persona 5, many new fans wanted a taste of what the Shin Megami Tensei series would be like. With this game, they successfully saw what the series is like: harder and darker versions of the Persona series. Shin Megami Tensei V deserves an anime adaptation because its world-building is interesting and complex. However, the story was near nonexistent. An anime adaptation would do its world and characters justice, just like the game did with the combat system.
6 Persona Q Would Be The Crossover Event Fans Need
It's funny to think that the main Persona series games are Playstation exclusives, but their spinoffs are, for the most part, Nintendo exclusives. Persona Q is the spinoff that fans didn't know they wanted, but the one they deserve as the game brings together the characters from the first 4 Persona games.
With its chibi art style, Persona Q could be a great anime adaptation. It has a compelling and complex story and fun interactions between the different Persona characters.
5 Persona Q2 Would Do Well As An Anime
Persona Q2 introduces Joker and his friends into the Q series. People would love to see the phantom thieves again, but it'd be even better to see them interact with previous Persona characters, especially in chibi form. Persona Q2 would be a great sequel season to Persona Q, delivering more of what people love with characters that people have been loved for some time. Seeing Morgana interact with Teddie in a series and cool chibi fight scenes with great music is very much welcome.
4 Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight
Fans loved the main Persona 5 story, which saw Joker come together with a group of teens to steal people's hearts. Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight is an interesting spinoff video game because it's more music-focused while Persona 5 is more action-packed and intense. Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight could bring the cast into a medium that no one has seen them in: Idol anime. This would be exciting for many players, as they could see their favorite characters dance along to some great songs.
3 Persona 5 Royal Delivers A More Complete Story
Though Persona 5 was already a masterpiece game, Persona 5 Royal heightened everything about the story and base game. Now, most fans would turn to Persona 5 Royal to see their favorite characters again, rather than the original game.
Even though Persona 5 already has an anime adaptation, it deserves an update with the inclusion of more content from the game, especially the introduction of Kasumi Yoshizawa. Many fans would love to see Kasumi show up on screen in the 2D realm, especially in a series.
2 An Anime On Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Would Deliver Action-Packed Fights
With Persona 4 getting a lot of attention recently, it'd be a good time for a Persona 4 Arena Ultimax anime adaptation to be announced. Even though Persona 4 already has an anime, it wouldn't hurt to see all the characters return for a new season. What would make this anime adaptation exciting is that it would be filled with intense fights, as that's the game's main focus. Fans would get hyped seeing characters go through a new story and using their personas to fight a whole new plethora of enemies.
1 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Is Atlus' New Masterpiece
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has already received lots of praise from players. Though the game is heavily story-driven, as it plays more like an interactive visual novel instead of a JRPG, many people got heavily invested in the game. There are 13 characters who each get their stories and perspectives told, and fans were captivated by every single one of them. The story deserves an anime adaptation because it's filled with interesting plot lines and twists. The frequently featured plot twists would make for a fantastic anime adaptation.
