The original world of Aincrad only had so many player options, but sometime later, Kirito and Asuna both got involved in a brand-new game: ALFheim Online. This time, they can log in and log back out as they please without fear of death, but many challenges still remain.
In this game, the players take on the role of fairies, complete with the power of flight, and cosplayer mangalphantom is taking to the skies with an anime-accurate costume and fairy wings on his back. And cosplayer xxpuffy is right by his side.
8 Asuna & Kirito With The Whole Aincrad Gang
Asuna and Kirito make for a great team, but it's important that they are part of an entire squad of gamers who want to make it out of Aincrad with their lives. They also took up arms with the lovely Yui, as well as Lisbeth and many more.

A good lunch is vital for any adventurer, and Asuna and Kirito know that they can't tackle a tough boss fight without some lunch first. They once bonded over a mere sandwich early in the Aincrad adventure, and clearly, these cosplayers remembered that scene.

6 The Three Amigos, MMO Style
Asuna and Kirito formed a little "family" of theirs partway through the Aincrad adventure when they met a mysterious little girl named Yui, who in fact had fairy wings (before ALFheim Online was even a thing). At once, Asuna was ready to "adopt" this youngster as her own.
Yui was a program, rather than a human player, but Kirito and Asuna loved her as a foster daughter all the same, and cosplay photographer CMOSsPhotography made sure to capture a nice family moment between the three of them. Asuna couldn't be more proud.

Asuna and Kirito are friends and lovers, but they are also fighters, and Asuna won't suffer any villain or gaming troll who tries to come between her and Kirito. In this sunlit forest shot, Asuna and Kirito are armed to the teeth, and their weapons are already drawn.

While Sword Art Online lacks many typical scenes from slice-of-life anime series, such as the classic "beach episode," these two cosplayers decided that Asuna and Kirito deserve an afternoon by the sea after all they've been through. It can be wonderfully relaxing.

1 Kirito, Who Is Your Betrothed?
Sword Art Online features some harem elements, and Kirito finds himself with more than a few female friends in his party, all of whom look to him for leadership and hope alike. Asuna is Kirito's #1, but in Gun Gale Online, the sniper known as Sinon soon challenged Asuna for Best Girl.
