Ubisoft revealed the post-launch DLC roadmap for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Valhalla, including paid and free content.
In a four-minute video, Ubisoft detailed the DLC content players can expect to experience after launch up until fall 2021. Included in the game's paid Season Pass will be two large expansions called Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris.
In Wrath of the Druids, players will take main character Eivor to Ireland to uncover the secrets of a local ancient druid cult. That expansion is planned to be released in spring 2021. The Siege of Paris is scheduled to drop in summer 2021 and will put players into one of the most famous events from Viking history. Lastly, the Season Pass will include The Legend of Beowulf quest, available the same day as the game launches. The game's Season Pass is included with the Gold and Ultimate Editions of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
From the end of 2020 until fall 2021, all Assassin's Creed Valhalla players will receive free DLC content featuring events like the Yule Festival, new game modes and more.
Post-Launch Producer Jose Araiza announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also be getting a Discovery Tour, the interactive history demo first featured for Assassin's Creed Origins. No information was revealed on when Discovery Tour will release.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla follows a Viking warrior named Eivor in the year 873 A.D. The game follows the events of the invasion of England and the everlasting war between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order. As Eivor defends their new home in Britain, they are approached by the Assassins to help change the destiny of England.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be released on Nov. 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia. The PlayStation 5 version will be released on Nov. 12.
