As Emmy season approaches, networks are putting their best promotional feet forward to campaign for their actors, their writers, their directors, and their shows to score a coveted gold statue. Eligible Emmy voters are in the selection process now, and one actor is doing his own promotional work to score a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

Bruce Campbell, who currently stars in "Ash vs. Evil Dead," wants to win for his work in the series. Working with Starz, he filmed these two videos, which debuted on Deadline today. In the videos, Campbell says that "Emmy contenders have questioned my qualifications for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, and maybe they have a point -- but I have a chainsaw hand." His campaign also features the tagline, "Vote for me and make the Emmys groovy again."
