On the eve of Comic-Con International (well, Preview Night, at least), Starz has debuted two more images from "Ash vs. Evil Dead."

Arriving courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, the photos feature Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams (naturally), as well as his new sidekick Pablo (played by Ray Santiago). But wait, there's more: One of the stills shows the duo in Sam Raimi's Delta from the original movie trilogy.

“Sam’s original Delta is back,” Campbell tells EW. “I’m talking the ‘73 Delta 88. The Classic is back! I’ve driven it. I did a William Shatner power-slide in that car. That’s the only spoiler I’m gonna give you: that Ash and that car — we can power-slide. I met William Shatner on the convention circuit, and I talked about 'T.J. Hooker.' He talked to me about how he power-slides those cars in 'T.J. Hooker.' So I took Shatner’s advice, and I used that advice to do a T.J. Hooker combo-platter — with the Classic — power-slide.”

Premiering this fall, the television sequel to the cult movie franchise picks up with Ash having spent the past three decades avoiding maturity, and the terrors of the Evil Dead. But when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, he’s forced to face his demons — both metaphorical and literal.

Campbell will headline an “Ash vs. Evil Dead” panel Friday at Comic-Con, alongside Sam Raimi, Lucy Lawless and Rob Tapert.
