The last issue of Asgardians of the Galaxy ended with the reveal that Angela's team of heroes and Yondu's Ravagers had both escaped to one of the most notable (and brooding) planets in the Marvel Universe -- Ego the Living Planet. Issue #6 ended with the peace Yondu had brokered being shattered, as the heroes were beset by not only swathes of mercenaries, but also the planet itself.

A preview for Asgardians of the Galaxy #7 picks up where the last issue left off, in the heat of battle. As heroes like Valkyrie, Planet Terry, Pip the Troll and Throg square off against a legion of well-armed killers, Alter Ego proceeds to antagonize Ego into lashing out against everyone on his surface.

In the middle of the fight, though, it looks like Throg is about ready to let loose. After all, an Asgardian waxing poetic in the middle of a fight can only mean bad things are on the horizon for their opponent, and that's exactly what Throg is doing. Throg decides he does not fear what is a certain death, noting that his day in Frog-Halla has not come just yet. The preview ends with him charging up his hammer with crackling, mystical lightning.

Asgardians of the Galaxy #7, on sale Mar. 13, is written by Cullen Bunn. Matteo Buffagni is the issue's artist. Jamal Campbell provided the cover.
