In anticipation of the upcoming X Men #1, Stanley "Artgerm" Lau has revealed a look at his variant cover for the issue, which puts Jean Grey front and center.Lau shared a sneak peek at the variant on his Twitter. Although Lau's art is usually takes the form of a dramatic, picturesque portrait of the character, this variant, by contrast, depicts only a portion of Jean Grey. Her eyes and signature flowing red hair are on full display but not much more is visible than that, leaving lots of negative space towards the top. Jean wears her classic mask, and she seems to be smiling. Still, this might not be the full cover, as Lau's tweet implies.RELATED: How Powers Of X Redefines Xavier And Magneto's Relationship
