From comics to film, it looks like Captain Marvel will have a very good 2019. On his Twitter, the Singapore-based digital painter shared a first look at these exclusive covers, which depict Captain Marvel standing against a cosmic backdrop in his immensely popular style. On both covers, Danvers wears her iconic modern costume, which combines aspects of her historical looks and her predecessor's costume for a sleek modern suit.

While the first cover shows Captain Marvel in her usual maskless look, the second cover depicts the hero in her masked Binary form, where her powers emerge in a fiery Super Saiyan-like burst of crackling cosmic energy. As Lau notes, the covers will be available exclusively on his website starting Dec. 16.
