After eight seasons, Arrow will be coming to an end, and star Stephen Amell will finally hang up his green hood for good.Now, in a new video from the cover shoot of Entertainment Weekly, the stars of The CW's Arrowverse shows take a bit of time to bid Stephen Amell an emotional farewell. "With Arrow coming to an end, I wanted to send some love to Stephen," The Flash star Grant Gustin begins. "None of this would have been possible without Stephen and without the groundwork that Arrow laid.""It's not gonna be the same without you," Supergirl star Melissa Benoist added, before telling the actor "you're a big dork, and I love you."
The lead actresses from Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow, Ruby Rose and Caity Lotz, also joined in on the emotional farewell, by thanking the actor for his generosity and poking fun at all that has happened in the series' eight-year run.
"Hey, it's the last season of Arrow," an emotional Stephen Amell says at the end of the video. "Thanks for coming on the journey with us, and we hope that the last season is awesome."
Returning Tuesday, October 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Colton Haynes as Arsenal and Katie Cassidy as Black Siren.
