For those who love a good crossover, two universe -- the Arrowverse and the Archie Comics television universe -- have collided... on the baseball diamond, that is.Cast members from The CW's Riverdale and Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina formed a softball team, which recently faced off against another time comprised of actors from Batwoman, The Flash and Supergirl.Riverdale and Sabrina showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa took to Twitter to wish both teams good luck ahead of their game, which was held in Vancouver. Additionally, Aguirre-Sacasa shared artwork from Archie Comics veteran Dan Parent, which shows Archie Andrews and Sabrina Spellman sporting their baseball gear alongside Batwoman and the Flash.
In a follow-up post, Aguirre-Sacasa announced the winner, revealing the Baxter High Ravens had brought the victory home for the Archieverse. He shared victory photo of the winning team, with fans being able to see the likes of Ross Lynch, Jaz Sinclair, Luke Cook and Lachlan Watson celebrating their victory over The CW's DC superheroes.
Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Bertlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 6 , at 8 p.m. on The CW.
