The setting of the CW Seed's upcoming animated series Freedom Fighters: The Ray, Earth-X is a parallel world in which Nazi Germany won World War II. Before the events of DC Comics' Crisis On Infinite Earths, it was home  to such former Quality Comics heroes as Plastic Man and the Freedom Fighters (Uncle Sam, Phantom Lady, The Ray, Doll Man, et al).

[Crossover] So here is our first look at Overgirl. What do you think? I'm digging it from FlashTV

Introduced in 2008 in DC's Final Crisis #2, Overgirl was a doppelganger of Power Girl (rather than Supergirl), created using genetic material from Overman, a darker version of Superman from a world in which the infant Kal-El rocketed from Krypton in 1938 and lands in Nazi-occupied Sudetenland.

Announced in September, "Crisis On Earth-X" will bring together the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow for a two-night crossover in which the villains of that world crash the wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West. The event will also feature the debut of Russell Tovey as The Ray, ahead of the December premiere of the animated Freedom Fighters: The Ray.

This four-part crossover will air across two nights on The CW, beginning Monday, Nov. 27, with Supergirl and Arrow (on a special night for one week only), and concluding Tuesday, Nov. 28, with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
