Elseworlds poster supergirl

With the Arrowverse's long-awaited Elseworlds crossover now just a week away from a hitting the airwaves, the CW has released a brand-new poster for the event.

This promotional image, which has been published on the social media accounts for The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl, features the crossover's main players (certain versions of them, at least) as the cityscape around them is devastated by cataclysmic upheaval.

Worlds collide in #Elseworlds. The 3-night crossover event begins Sunday at 8/7c on The Flash!

In the foreground, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl, Ruby Rose's Batwoman, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen (as Green Arrow) and Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen (as the Flash) can all be seen in various poses. Further back, viewers can also catch a glimpse of The Flash's Vibe, Iris West and Killer Frost, who are portrayed by Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker. It also gave us a look at Tyler Hoechlin's black-suited Superman and regular Superman alongside Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane. It also shows LaMonica Garrett's Elseworlds newcomer, the Monitor, and an unidentified robotic creature.

In addition to driving home Elseworlds' prevalent multiverse theme, this new poster makes it rather clear that the large-scale clashing of worlds comes with some serious tremors. In other words, the Arrowverse crew had best be prepared for what could be the fight of their lives, and the lives of all the different versions of themselves.
