Arrow premiered in 2012 and came to a conclusion with Season 8. Currently, there is a spinoff titled Green Arrow and the Canaries in the works, but that show has not yet been ordered to series. Despite this, CW President Mark Pedowitz revealed in May that "active discussions" about the series' potential path forward were still being held ahead of a final decision.

Production on the various CW superhero shows shows -- which include The FlashDC's Legends of TomorrowSupergirlBatwomanBlack Lightning and Superman & Lois -- has only just resumed following a stop as the result of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19), which cut seasons of the various shows short. The CWverse's shows are expected to start airing again in Jan. 2021.
