The upcoming Arrowverse crossover event, "Crisis on Infinite Earths," will feature the Anti-Monitor, and new concept art reveals he'll be played by Monitor actor LaMonica Garrett.
Shared by Arrowverse architect Marc Guggenheim on Twitter, the concept art gives a look at the Anti-Monitor's counterpart, who is colored much darker than his more benevolent counterpart, the Monitor.
Created by Marv Wolfman, George Perez and Jerry Ordway, Mobius/The Anti-Monitor made his first appearance in 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths #2. The incredibly powerful villain served as one of the main antagonists for the event, and he's a forced to be reckoned with, having beaten some of the DC Universe's strongest heroes over the years.
At this time, many details about how the Arrowverse version of the event will play out remain unknown. However, Superman Returns actor Brandon Routh is set to reprise his role as the Man of Steel, playing the Kingdom Come version of his character. Routh will also play Ray Palmer/The Atom. Additionally, as Arrow is entering its final season, there's a good chance Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen won't make it through the event alive.
Scheduled to air this fall on The CW, "Crisis on Infinite Earths" will envelope Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman.
