The Arrowverse has given fans a number of perfectly adapted DC comic characters. However, they've also created a few individuals that are completely original to the TV shows they star in. Some of these characters have certainly had a mixed reception.

However, each person who has contributed to the wider DC universe has something interesting to offer. We've often wondered what would happen if these characters were brought into the comics, as some of them already have been. Here are 10 characters that are still exclusive to the Arrowverse but we'd love to see mixing it up with the heroes in the comics.

10 SARA LANCE

Sara Lance is the sister to a version of the Black Canary, Laurel Lance. The character started off as the first Canary before becoming the White Canary and leading the Legends in the Waverider. She's become a crucial member of the Arrowverse and some have even contemplated whether she deserves her own show.

This incarnation of White Canary has never been seen in the comics. However, the Green Arrow family is always growing and changing and it would be amazing to see Sara brought in to add some much-needed support to the team.

9 THE GUARDIAN

Guardian Supergirl

There are versions of a superhero known as The Guardian in the comics. There are also many different versions of James 'Jimmy' Olsen, although he is always portrayed as Superman's best friend and a photographer, journalist, and man of action.

In the Arrowverse, Jimmy has taken his role one step further. He has decided to fight crime and become that universe's version of the Guardian. He's incredibly well-skilled and offers a lot to the universe and it would be cool to see Olsen complete this transition in the comics and don the costume.

8 MIA SMOAK

Mia Smoak is the child of Felicity Smoak and Oliver Queen. She's now a key player in the Arrowverse and will likely be the Green Arrow in the future. She currently goes by the alias of Black Star and is a no-nonsense vigilante, much like her father.

It would take a lot to finally introduce this character, but we'd love to see a version of her enter the comics. The legacy of Oliver Queen is always an interesting one and while the name Mia is taken and the character is more likely to be a Lance than a Smoak, there's real potential here.

7 WINN SCHOTT

Winn has been removed from the Arrowverse for some time but he is finally returning where he belongs. After going to the future, Winn has proven himself as one of the most heroic tech-based heroes in all of the universe.

Winn could offer a lot to the comics as there are not enough guys in chairs. Having him be the son of the Toy Maker also provides an interesting back story. Perhaps, one day, this could be a moniker that Winn assumes, using it for good rather than the evil we saw in his father.

6 NORA DARHK

The daughter of Damien Darhk is currently exclusive to the Arrowverse, but she may be a much more interesting character than her father. Although Damien Darhk is a member of DC's comic family, the Arrowverse took the villain in a different direction.

Damien's daughter is a witch and a user of dark magic. She's been a villain and a hero and can toe the line on a weekly basis. Nora is manipulative, charming, and has a huge power set. You can never have too much magic in the DC Comics universe and this sorceress could be developed even further.

5 HARRISON WELLS

Harrison Wells might just be one of the best creations of the Arrowverse. He's been in every variation of Team Flash, although he was a villain when we originally met him. He's also the perfect way to demonstrate that there are multiple Earths.

The Arrowverse has allowed for so many versions of Wells to be created. A Sherlock rip-off, H.R., a grumpy Wells, a Mad Max inspired Wells, there are so many different options. We'd love to see this character and the Council of Wells appear in the comics, they'd be a fun group to bring in and look over the multiverse. Another option could be a Wells based spin-off show.

4 ALEX DANVERS

Alex Danvers is the sister of Kara Danvers and the head of the DEO. The organization has a lot of prestige and Danvers is an incredibly talented agent who has faced some of the most dangerous aliens in the whole galaxy.

The character has been on a real journey throughout the series and even has her own superhero suit now, without the moniker to go along with it. The character could find an ongoing place in the comics and it's surprising she has not been introduced yet.

3 SPARTAN

Much like Guardian, Spartan is a creation of the Arrowverse. John Diggle is a part of the comics although not quite in the same way as he is in the series. As a member of Team Arrow, he has become the right-hand man to Oliver Queen and taken on his own superhero role.

Spartan is an interesting concept, even if we are not totally sure the name is perfect for the character. The helmet also started out as really cheesy but it has now gotten to a stage where he fits in with the rest of the universe. Diggle becoming this vigilante in the comics would be a breath of fresh air.

2 AVA SHARPE

Ava Sharpe

Ava Sharpe is a clone from the future and it just gets more complicated from there. The leader of the Time Bureau and friend of the Legends is highly skilled and very calculating. She rules over the Bureau with an iron fist and a good moral compass.

This organization would be very useful in the comics for watching over some of the terrible decisions made by the heroes. Not only this, introducing so many clones would make the character stand out and would pose some interesting questions about the nature of the future.

1 JOHN DIGGLE, JR.

Returning to the Diggle family now and there have been a few variations of this character. The John Diggle Jr. that we're talking about though is the biological son of John Diggle and was once a hero before turning to the dark side.

Diggle now runs the Deathstroke gang and presides over the crime in Star City. The character is complex and has allowed for the Deathstroke legacy to continue. He would be a great character to bring into the comics, as would the gang, with the team reinstating some criminal control in cities like Gotham and Star.
