SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for the fall finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

During the recent midseason finale of Legends of Tomorrow, the Legends found themselves short two members, as both halves of Firestorm left the show. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) was shot and killed during the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover, while Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) later left the Waverider to discover who he could be as his own man. Both characters have been around since the series' inception after having been previously established in the first two seasons of The Flash. Fortunately, the Waverider won't be lacking in members for too long, as a new member -- a character we've seen before -- will soon join the Legends.

Arrowverse executive producer Marc Guggenheim has said that the Legends will soon be joined by a new character. When pressed further about who it was, all he said was that it would be "a previously established character from the Arrowverse." One character out of the running will be The Ray, played by Russell Tovey, who first appeared during "Crisis on Earth-X," as he's currently on ABC's Quantico. Still, Guggenheim has said that this addition is "a really cool one... I just can't talk about the game plan. The CW publicity will determine when we get to unleash that bit of news."

For our money, we think that it'll end up being Kid Flash. The young speedster hasn't been much of a staple of Team Flash, and he previously appeared in the season opener of Legends fighting alongside Steel.

Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Tala Ashe, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Amy Pemberton and Arthur Darvill.
