Artist Andy Poon, who helped design several characters for The CW's Arrowverse, recently offered a coronavirus take on the Dark Knight's iconic cowl.

Poon shared several different takes of Batman's cowl on Instagram, which included a fully covered version and an armored one. "Are you doing your part to help flatten the curve like Batman?!" Poon wrote. "Wear a mask (or fully armoured and pressurized helmet) if you have to go outside for essential needs and social distancing which Batman is a master at."

Many different versions of Batman's mask have appeared in films throughout the years. An armored version was worn by Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While Affleck has since left the role, a new film starring the Dark Knight, entitled The Batman, is in the works with Robert Pattinson starring and Matt Reeves directing.

Beginning with the Stephen Amell-led Arrow, The CW's Arrowverse consists of several TV shows, including The FlashSupergirlLegends of TomorrowBlack Lightning and Batwoman. An upcoming series called Superman & Lois is also set to be joining the Arrowverse.

Matt Reeves' The Batman recently delayed its production because of the coronavirus pandemic. The film's original release date of June 25, 2021 hasn't been moved. The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard.
