"Arrow's" Amell Gives Firm, Definitive, Final Answer Regarding Oliver's Goatee

Since the start of "Arrow" back in 2012, longtime fans of Oliver Queen have had two big questions: will Stephen Amell's vigilante ever go by the name Green Arrow and when will he sport the character's signature goatee? Hints have been dropped that TV's Queen will adopt the Green Arrow moniker (the season four premiere is titled "Green Arrow," after all), but people hoping to see Oliver change up his facial hair will have to keep waiting -- forever.

Amell responded to a fan question about the goatee on Twitter, and he gave the most definitive answer we could ever imagine.

100% no. Never. Our show could go 14 seasons and a goatee will never appear. Hope that clears things up. Forever. https://t.co/pudAfBIhsD

Sorry goatee fans! Looks like Amell's Arrow will continue to sport the stubble he's rocked since the first episode. Amell then expaned on his answer with a few more tweets.

During S2 hiatus I grew a beard & fashioned a goatee while shaving it. Looked like someone with a record trying to blend into a new city.

If we're lucky enough to go 6 seasons I'll show up the first day looking like this guy: pic.twitter.com/30qH4LIZJc

I'll be asked to shave immediately, but still.
