When Arrow returns for its eighth and final season this October, Oliver Queen won't be wearing his wedding ring in the Season 8 premiere.In response to fan speculation after the first Season 8 trailer showed Oliver not wearing his wedding ring, longtime executive producer Marc Guggenheim assured fans there a reason for the ring's absence. In Season 7, Felicity discovered she was pregnant with Oliver's child and give birth to a daughter named Mia, who was raised in secrecy. While Mia is seen grown up in flash-forwards, Felicity and Oliver were forced to part ways when the Emerald Archer was summoned by the omnipotent Monitor to honor an earlier promise.

The flash-forwards revealed that Felicity survives to this possible future, taking on the mantle of the Calculator, before joining the Monitor to reunite with her husband. Whether Emily Bett Rickards will reprise her role as Felicity in the final season of Arrow is still unknown.
