The Arrowverse is certainly no stranger to crossovers, and if the blockbuster ratings from last fall's "Invasion!" event are any indication, fans will be seeing plenty more. A "Flash"/"Supergirl" crossover is already announced for this spring, but another meeting of The CW's original dynamic duo will happen well before that. Like, oh, next week.
Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim, teased "the fastest crossover" ever involving Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) on next week's episode of "Arrow," titled "Second Chances." On Twitter, he posted an image of the Fastest Man Alive speeding through Captain Singh's office in the Central City Police Department.
The Flash has a lot on his plate this season, as Barry races to prevent the death of the Iris West (Candice Patton). Barry being Barry, though, it seems he steals a chance to help his first super-friend, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). However, if you don't have the ability to manipulate time, like some, or own a DVR, you're going to miss the moment.
Ollie is dealing with his own issues at the moment, battling an arch-archer, meeting the daughter of an old nemesis and finding another member of Team Arrow "returned from the dead." It would seem that in order to check off at least one item from his lengthy to-do list, he'll need to assistance of the Scarlet Speedster.
Airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, “Arrow’ stars Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Echo Callum.
