"Arrow" Star Stephen Amell: No Resurrection on the Horizon for Laurel Lance

It's more bad news for Black Canary fans, as "Arrow" star Stephen Amell has confirmed that Laurel Lance, the character played by Katie Cassidy that was killed in last month's dramatic "Eleven Fifty Nine" episode, will remain dead, with no prospect of resurrection on the horizon.

Amell, who plays the billionaire playboy archer Oliver Queen on the hit CW series that went on to spawn an entire "Arrowverse" of interconnected DC television franchises, spoke about the show during a sit-down with "Larry King Now," on Ora TV. Asked by King whether the actor knew the last words uttered by Lance before her passing -- which fans could not hear -- Amell said that while he does know what she said, it will remain a surprise, per the wishes of series creator Greg Berlanti. When King followed up by asking "Any chance she'll come back from the dead?" Amell responded with a simple "No."

Watch the clip from the "Larry King Now" episode, set to debut in full Friday, May 27, below.

The season four finale of "Arrow" is scheduled for May 25. Asked by King to describe that finale in three words, Amell opted for "Where'd everybody go?"

"Arrow" next airs this Wednesday, May 11, at 8 PM EST on the CW, with an episode entitled "Monument Point."
