On Arrow, Oliver Queen's never really had it easy (save for for his pre-deserted island days), and it sure looks like Season 7 will be no different. Season 6 of the DC series ended with Stephen Amell's character striking a deal with the authorities: his teammates were now safe from persecution, and in exchange he surrendered himself. Now, Oliver Queen has been officially outed as the Green Arrow, and worse still he is being imprisoned in a maximum security facility where most of the inmates are criminals the vigilante himself put away.

Ahead of the Season 7 premiere, which is little more than a month away, Amell revealed the official poster for the upcoming season on his Facebook page -- a poster that speaks volumes about the direction the series will take when it resumes. The artwork features a solo Queen in the middle of his new prison. The character appears weary from his time in detention, the cuts and bruises on his face telling us that the former Green Arrow will have to fight to survive every single day of his incarceration.

To accompany the photo, the actor wrote a very brief tease: "This fall, Green Is The New Black." Of course, this is obviously meant to be a nod to the popular Netflix series Orange is the New Black, which takes place inside a women's prison. However, with the added twist of the color green, Amell is letting us know that Oliver Queen may be in prison... but so is the Green Arrow.

To paraphrase a very famous scene from Watchmen -- which at one time featured Walter Kovacs, the man behind the Rorschach mask in prison -- it's possible that Queen isn't locked up with the other criminals... they just might be the ones stuck in there with him.

The Comic-Con International trailer of Season 7 teased a brutal shower fight scene, and with the producers of the series saying they are pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable on The CW, Oliver Queen's extended stay in prison may just prove to be a hellish island of its own.
