SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for tonight's episode of "Arrow," "Unchained," which has not yet aired on the west coast at the time of publication.

The major revelations continue on season four of "Arrow" -- on tonight's episode, "Unchained," the identity of Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) father was revealed: Longtime DC Comics villain The Calculator (played by guest star Tom Amandes) proving that impressive tech skills run in the family.

"We really wanted to play the real of someone who is in her 20s and really has not known their father, and what kind of emotions would that bring up for somebody in her position," "Arrow" co-showrunner Wendy Mericle told TVLine. "I think she's really conflicted. She wants to believe that her father loves her and that he has a vested interest in who she is and knowing her and having a relationship with her, and she feels very torn about that -- even though she knows right off that bat, at the top of [next episode], who he really is."

The Calculator has targeted many heroes over the years in DC Comics, having first appeared in 1976's "Detective Comics" #463, as created by Bob Rozakis and Mike Grell. "Arrow" is the first time the character has been depicted in live action.

Check back later tonight for CBR's full recap of "Unchained."
