Arrow may have said goodbye to longtime cast member Emily Bett Rickard's Felicity Smoak in the Season 7 finale, but the fan-favorite series will be gaining a new addition.

According to TVLine, Joseph David-Jones, who plays Connor Hawke in the Arrowverse, has been promoted to a series regular for Arrow's eighth and final season.

David-Jones first appeared in an episode of Legends of Tomorrow where he played the Green Arrow of an alternate future. However, he would later return in Season 7 of Arrow, where it was revealed he was the son of Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger and later adopted by John Diggle and his wife Lyla.

At the end of Season 7, Oliver Queen left Earth to join the Monitor on his mission to prepare for the arrival of the Anti-Monitor. While the details of Season 8 are scarce for the time being, it will all culminate in the highly anticipated Arrowverse crossover, "Crisis on Infinite Earths." The series' final season will be comprised of 10 episodes.
