"Arrow" stars Neal McDonough, Stephen Amell and Paul Blackthrone weighed in on season four's upcoming plots, including Damien Darhk's "shocking" personal life, who supports Oliver's candidacy and more during MTV's recent visit to set.

"You'll find out about [Darhk's] personal life, which comes as a bit of a shock to everyone," McDonough shared. "Without giving it away, it's a pretty good one. It's really good. And, obviously, the Green Arrow's gonna figure that out and use that against me also."

However, Darhk won't be the only one who finds his personal life turned against him; McDonough made it clear this will be a two-way street between Darhk and Green Arrow: "It's no holds barred after a little while, and I take things from his life and he takes things from my life and, by the end of the season, it's gonna be the Shootout at the OK Corral."

Additionally, Darhk won't be too keen on Oliver's candidacy, sparking tension between Oliver's civillian life and Darhk. McDonough explained his character "loves it at first because he thinks he can use Oliver as his pawn. We find out rather quickly that that pawn is not for sale, and it certainly sets me off and makes me do some really horribly things."

Blackthorne also revealed Oliver will have a surprising supporter when he runs for mayor: Captain Lance. "I've found that Lance was quite proud of him. As we've been doing these episodes, I sort of was feeling [like] Lance has this fatherly pride that he is actually stepping into the light and doing it for real now," he shared.

Amell added Oliver's candidacy "actually works well for his relationship with Thea."

Starring Amell, David Ramsey and Emily Bett Rickards, "Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
