SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Leap of Faith," the latest episode of Arrow Season 8.

The latest episode of Arrow just staged a family reunion. In "Leap of Faith," Oliver Queen was transported to the team bunker alongside his children from the future timeline.

This week, Oliver traveled to Nanda Parbat and ran into both his sister Thea and Talia al Ghul. Together, they searched for a journal belonging to the first Ra's al Ghul. The journal described the Monitor as "a god who possessed the power to see all that is and all that will be. [Ra's] believed that, if he failed to keep the balance between good and evil, this god would bring forth the end of times: the annihilation of all things."

Alongside the description, the journal also included a drawing of the Monitor. However, this drawing looks much closer to the Anti-Monitor. The drawing depicts a bald man with deep creases all over his face, which is a far cry from the Monitor. It is much more reminiscent of the Anti-Monitor photo that was released earlier this month.

But Oliver doesn't know about the Anti-Monitor, and so he assumed it had to be about the Monitor. "It means Mar Novu is not trying to prevent what's going to happen. He's going to be what causes it," he speculated.

"Here's what I don't get: if Mar Novu causes whatever is going to happen, why does he bring you in in the first place?" Thea mused.

"I don't know. I know that if he ends up being on the wrong side of this, I'm going to stop him," Oliver insisted.

Before he could get started on that mission, he found himself transported to the bunker. Bemused, he greeted Dinah Drake and Rene Ramirez, who looked just as shocked to see him as he was to see them. "What's going on?" he asked.

"That's a very good question," Rene replied, looking behind Oliver.

Oliver turned, only to see his adult children. Mia Smoak, William Clayton-Queen and Connor Hawke stood grouped together on the platform behind them. William recognized his father instantly. His jaw dropped and he stared, unable to speak. Mia, tears streaming down her face, titled her head and asked, "Dad?" With that, the episode closed on Oliver's shocked expression.

At the time of writing, it is unclear who or what brought Oliver and his children together. However, considering the Monitor's omnipotence, it was likely his doing. His motivations for doing so remain a mystery, but they are sure to be cleared up in next week's episode.

Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow's final season stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke and Ben Lewis as William Clayton-Queen.
