SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Brothers in Arms," the latest episode of Arrow.

Oliver Queen may have just jeopardized his position as Star City's mayor. In "Brothers in Arms," the latest episode of Arrow, he fired SCPD Captain Kimberly Hill and District Attorney Sam Armand after he discovered that both of them work for Ricardo "The Dragon" Diaz. In response, they claimed obstruction of justice and alleged that he was trying to halt their investigation of him.

At the start of the episode, Oliver worked with Dinah Drake, aka Black Canary, to arrest Anatoly Knyazev. However, Armand refused to press charges based on a technicality, which led both Teams Arrow to realize he was compromised. Since Dinah told him that Hill was also compromised, Oliver realized he couldn't truly trust anyone in a position of power in Star City.

Armed with this knowledge, he called Hill and Armand into his office and spoke to them privately. When he asked what Diaz had on them, they readily confessed. Diaz had threatened Hill's father, sister and niece, while he also secretly paid off the medical bills for Armand's son, who has stage 4 leukemia. Neither of them seemed willing to break off from Diaz, so Oliver fired them on the spot. As he stormed out of the office, Armand told Oliver that he knew he was the Green Arrow -- and that he had already lost "the war."

By the end of the episode, Hill and Armand had gone to the press. They claimed Oliver was afraid of their investigation, and so fired them to stop it. This would qualify as obstruction of justice, which is an impeachable offense. As such, it seems Oliver will be gearing up for another trial in the coming weeks.

Over the course of Season 7, Oliver has lost a lot. His new team members splintered off to form their own group, Thea left to right her father's wrongs and now Diggle has quit as well. If he loses his job as well, Season 7 will have stripped everything but his son away from him -- making him a man with nearly nothing to lose.
