As Oliver Queen prepares for the coming "Crisis," he finds himself betrayed by a familiar face in an upcoming episode of Arrow.
The CW has released the official synopsis for the final season's sixth episode, titled "Reset," which will see A.R.G.U.S. leader Lyla -- and John Diggle's wife and the mother of their child -- double-crossing Oliver by placing him in a life-or-death spot. Directed by longtime star David Ramsey, the synopsis released by the network is below.
ARROW“Reset” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)
YOU CAN’T FIGHT YOUR FATE – After being double-crossed by Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson), Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds himself facing a life or death situation that seems very familiar. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has the opportunity to make amends with the past. David Ramsey directed the episode written by Onalee Hunter Hughes & Maya Houston (#806). Original airdate 11/26/2019.
Lyla actor Audrey Marie Anderson has been cast as Harbinger, The Monitor's assistant, in "Crisis on Infinite Earths," so it's unclear if the Lyla that will betray Oliver is from his own earth or somewhere else within the Arrowverse, as Oliver's partnership with Mar Novu has become estranged. However, with Oliver's death at the end of the "Crisis" a forgone conclusion by many avid viewers of The CW's superhero lineup, the betrayal may set up the Green Arrow's final fate.
Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow's final season stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke and Ben Lewis as William Clayton-Queen.
