SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Leap of Faith," the latest episode of Arrow Season 8.

The last episode of Arrow ended with a big surprise when Mia, William and Connor were all taken from their future timeline by the Monitor and dropped in the present. Finding themselves in Team Arrow's bunker, the young heroes came face-to-face with their parents, unsure of what is happening.

The promo for the series' next episode, "Present Tense," shows Arrow will waste no time in examining the fallout of this big twist. However, it doesn't appear like there will be a lot of time for talking, because a new Deathstroke has arrived to terrorize Star City.

In the future timeline, William, Mia and Connor have been fighting John Diggle, Jr. and his Deathstroke gang. In the promo, Mia and William theorize that perhaps J.J. also time-traveled like them, and that this is the beginning of their bleak future.

However, we don't yet know if the Monitor also plucked the young villain from the future. If that isn't the case, then there really is a new Deathstroke running around the city, set to make Oliver's remaining days a little more hellish.
