"Arrow" Finds New Co-Showrunner in Wendy Mericle

"Arrow" co-creator Marc Guggenheim announced on Twitter that co-executive producer Wendy Mericle would step up as co-showrunner for the show's fourth season.

Mericle joined Team Arrow as a producer in the first season and later went on to become co-executive producer. She has also written several episodes of the show, including recent episodes like "Nanda Parabat" and "Public Enemies." Her past credits include shows like "Desperate Housewives," "Smallville" and "Eli Stone."

"Arrow's" season three finale is slated to air on May 13. The show airs Wednesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
