Arrow star Stephen Amell teased what he refers to as "the action sequence to end all action sequences" for the show's series finale.

"It was like, okay, it's our last kick at the can. Let's do the action sequence to end all action sequences for Arrow," Amell told Collider. "The coolest thing is that, I want to say, every stunt guy, more or less who has worked on the show, even guys that retired or are coordinating on Supergirl or Flash or Legends, everybody came out. Everybody sold out in terms of what's happening."

"It's a sequence that, I showed it to Robbie [Amell], and he's like 'That was incredible!'" he added. "And I'm like, 'That was the first third of it, keep watching.' It just goes. It's a little superfluous, a little theatrical, just in terms of the amount of people I murder. It's what the fans deserved."

Returning Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke and Ben Lewis as William Clayton-Queen.

The following week, Arrow will air its penultimate episode, "Green Arrow and the Canaries," which will serve as a backdoor pilot for the spinoff show of the same name. Arrow's series finale, titled "Fadeout," will air Tuesday, Jan. 28.
