With the inaugural Arrowverse series Arrow endings its eight-season run this week, virtually every major character of the fan-favorite DCTV drama's main cast will appear to send-off the show and its dearly departed protagonist Oliver Queen.

With official stills from the series finale showing the extensive cast of characters attending a funeral for Oliver, showrunner Beth Schwartz has confirmed that each of the main characters will find some measure of closure as they reassemble to pay their last respects -- including characters that were introduced as early as the first season.

"It’s really important for me and [co-creator and executive producer Marc Guggenheim] to honor all of our characters," explained Schwartz in an interview with Variety. "We spent a lot of time in the room brainstorming endings for all our characters, whether they were series regulars in Season 8 or they were series regulars in Season 1. We really wanted to give everyone a satisfying ending, so that you could envision what their lives would be like after the show was over.”

Many major characters returned in some capacity earlier in the final season as Oliver toured to DCTV Multiverse to prepare for "Crisis," where he heroically sacrificed his life. With everyone from Oliver's mother Moira to his wife and daughter Felicity and Mia returning, Oliver's legacy will continue on through the series' supporting cast.
