With summer hiatus coming to an end, the stars of The CW's superhero shows are headed back to work. Both Supergirl and The Flash have already begun production on Season 5 and 6 respectively, giving fans a first look at Supergirl's new haircut and Killer Frost's new costume. Now, it's Arrow's turn.
Star Stephen Amell shared a picture signaling the start of production for Arrow's eighth and final season. "One last time," the actor wrote, along with a picture commemorating the start of the season premiere's shooting. Helmed by longtime Arrow director James Bamford, the episode will be the first of the series' final ten episodes.
At the end of Season 7, Oliver Queen left alongside the all-powerful cosmic being known as the Monitor to help prepare for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths."
While details of the upcoming season are currently under wraps, fans should learn more about Arrow Season 8 during the series' panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego next week.
Returning Tuesday, October 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Colton Haynes as Arsenal and Katie Cassidy as Black Siren.
