ARROW EXCLUSIVE: Prometheus Explains His Obsession in Deleted Scene

The villain Prometheus rocked Oliver Queen's world throughout the fifth season of The CW's Arrow, infiltrating Oliver's personal life as Adrian Chase, district attorney of Star City, as he sought revenge against Oliver for killing his father years ago. In the process, Adrian kidnapped Star City reporter (and Oliver's love interest) Susan Williams ahead of the season's explosive finale on the island of Lian Yu.

With the complete fifth season of Arrow now available on Blu-ray and DVD, CBR is debuting one of the collection's deleted scenes, featuring Adrian as he confesses one of his deepest, darkest secrets to a captive Susan.

After cutting Susan free, Prometheus says that while he began his quest against the Green Arrow to avenge his father, it soon turned into a journey of self-discovery. All the training Adrian underwent to become Prometheus helped him awaken his true self, which is something he's never admitted to anyone before. Because of this, Adrian vows to kill Susan as the clip ends.
