Arrow: Ghostbusters' Ernie Hudson Signs On for Guest Role

Ernie Hudson, known his roles as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters franchise and as Sergeant Darryl Albrecht in The Crow, is set to add another major franchise to his resume. The actor will make a guest appearance in "Spartan," the upcoming 19 episode of Arrow's seventh season.

The episode will see Hudson play a Four-Star General with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) who joins Team Arrow for a special mission. The kicker is that Hudson's character apparently has a history with David Ramsey's John Diggle. In turn, unresolved tension from their past is likely to surface when they are once again forced to work together.

In addition to films like Ghostbusters and The Crow, Hudson has an extensive career under his belt, which is still going strong today. The actor recently wrapped work on the first season of the Bad Boys spinoff series L.A.'s Finest. Additionally, he currently stars and executive produces BET's The Family Business, and has a recurring role on the Netflix original series Grace and Frankie.
