As one of the biggest villains in the DC Universe, Ra's al Ghul and his League of Assassins would appear throughout the Arrowverse, most notably in Arrow Season 3.Plotting to reshape the world in his image, Ra's adopted Oliver Queen as his eventual heir, having Green Arrow enter into an arranged marriage with his daughter Nyssa al Ghul. While Oliver would eventually succeed Ra's and take control of the League of Assassins, he left control of the organization to his longtime enemy Malcolm Merlyn. Merlyn's leadership would divide the League, with Nyssa leading a faction against him before Oliver and Nyssa eventually ousted him for good.

With Arrow having concluded its eight-season run and launching the Arrowverse on The CW, Guggenheim has steadily shared more and more behind-the-scenes content from the popular series as a final thank-you the fans of the DCTV show.
