SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "The Slabside Redemption," the latest episode of Arrow.

When everything inside Slabside Prison went to hell, Oliver Queen found an ally from the unlikeliest of places. In "The Slabside Redemption," the latest episode of Arrow, Ben "Bronze Tiger" Turner stepped up and lent Oliver a helping hand.

Though Oliver got Turner thrown in the hole during last week's episode, he was quick to acknowledge his mistake. When he discovered he had been manipulated into doing that by Stanley, he went to Turner's cell and promised to get him out. Turner refused to believe Oliver would do such a thing, but Oliver assured him he would right his wrongs. Plus, he knew Turner had good in him deep down; after all, he once saved Lyla Michaels during his Suicide Squad days, even though he didn't have to.

When the riot began, Turner escaped from his cell and crossed paths with Oliver as he went toe-to-toe with Danny "Brick" Brickwell and Derek Sampson. Turner even fought back against them, even though they had been his allies up to this point. Following the skirmish, Oliver and Turner decided to work together to survive and save as many people as possible.

During the climactic battle, Turner stuck right by Oliver's side and even followed his directions. Ultimately, he rescued several guards from certain death, killed Derek Sampson during a battle and cleared the floor for Oliver's showdown with Ricardo Diaz. As the episode drew to a close, Turner returned to his cell to await the restoration of order; there, one of the injured guards thanked him for his help.
