Juliana Harkavy, who plays Dinah Drake/Black Canary on Arrow, has penned an emotional letter saying goodbye to The CW series.

Harkavy shared the letter on her Twitter account, along with a photo with tears in her eyes. "I took this photo almost 4 years ago," she said. "I'd just gotten off a call with Warner Bros. where I learned my life was about to change forever. My journey on Arrow had begun, and I would be moving to Vancouver in a few days. I took this picture because I wanted to remember the feeling I had in that moment. The overwhelming excitement. The immense gratitude."

The actor first appeared on Arrow during its fifth season, and officially became a series regular for Season 6. Harkavy replaced the previous Black Canary, Katie Cassidy, when her character Laurel Lance was killed in Season 4.
