Schwarzenegger's upcoming television series has been in development with Netflix since early November 2020. Monica Barbaro (Top Gun: Maverick) is set to star as the action star's daughter. The series has been described as a "show center[ing] on a father and a daughter who learn that they’ve been secretly working as CIA Operatives for years. They realize that their entire relationship has been a lie and that they truly don’t know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, the Untitled Arnold Schwarzenneger Project tackles universal family dynamics set against an international backdrop of spies, fantastic action and humor."

After news broke of the series being officially ordered by Netflix, the Predator star stated, "Fans from all over the world have been asking me for a wild ride like this for years, and now they’re finally going to get it because of our great partners at Skydance and Netflix. I am beyond pumped to start work on the show with Nick and Monica and the whole team."

Created by Nick Santora, the untitled global spy adventure series will star Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro. Skydance Television’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost will executive produce the series, while Santora will also serve as showrunner. He also currently serves as the showrunner on Amazon Video's Jack Reacher, which received a series order in January 2020. The series is expected to be comedic in tone while balancing high stakes of action as the leads' relationships develop.

At the time of this writing, no other casting announcements have been released. It's also currently unknown when Season 1 of the spy series will premiere on Netflix.
