Arnold Schwarzenegger Keeps His Promises in First Clip From 'Maggie'

If this first clip from "Maggie" is any indication, star Arnold Schwarzenegger may actually show some acting range in the independent post-apocalyptic thriller. Not that we don't enjoy him hamming it up in the "Terminator Genisys" trailers, but it's certainly nice to see a more subtle side.

In director Henry Hobson's film, Schwarzenegger plays a farmer who must protect his daughter (Abigail Breslin) from authorities after she becomes infected during a zombie epidemic. In the clip, father Wade reiterates the promise he made to care for Maggie, assuring his daughter he's not concerned about being harmed by her.

The film, which also stars Joely Richardson, Laura Cayouette and Dana Gourrier, premiered Wednesday at the Tribeca Film Festival ahead of its limited release on May 8.

I'm so excited for the premiere of Maggie tonight at Tribeca Film Festival that I couldn't wait to share this exclusive clip with you guys. This is different than any movie I've done. Henry Hobson was a great director and Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson are both incredible. I can't wait for you to see it.
