Archie: The Married Life - 10th Anniversary #1, the sequel to 2009's "Archie Wedding" storyline, arrives in August, and CBR has an exclusive preview of four variant covers, from artists J. Bone, Francesco Francavilla, Robert Hack, Aaron Lopresti.
"What I like about this storyline is that it’s about everyday life: death, marriage, children, money, love, angst, career... the things we all deal with. And because these are characters we've all grown up with, the stories hit that much closer to home," artist Dan Parent said in a statement.
"Who would have imagined ten years ago that our historic ARCHIE MARRIES storyline, that drew worldwide fan and mainstream press attention, would actually not be the ending tale of Archie, Betty & Veronica, and the Riverdale gang, but instead would become merely the starting point?" writer Michael Uslan added. "It’s ten years later, and now we see the consequences and results, as well as the startling ‘butterfly effect’ his choice has had on his family, friends, and everyone in Riverdale, in addition to his loving wife, Veronica . . . and his loving wife, Betty!
