Archie Comics is teaming with the Everyone Skateboard Company for a new line of boards and gear featuring the teens of Riverdale. "Hey Everyone! We are honored and thrilled to announce this classic collaboration with [Archie Comics], the most beloved comic strip of all time!!" Everyone Skateboard wrote in a recent Instagram post.
Everyone Skateboard explains that its collaboration with Archie includes new skateboards, grip tape and apparel starring the characters of Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge and Jughead Jones. The first four decks are set to arrive this spring and are currently available for pre-order on TheDarkSlide.com. Everyone Skateboard has also announced a deck featuring Cheryl Blossom, which will arrive in the summer alongside a pair of matching sweatpants.
Interestingly, this collab with Everyone Skateboard actually won't be the first time Archie and the gang have been featured on skateboards. Various CCS custom boards featuring Archie Comics artwork are currently available on the publisher's Threadless shop. Buyers are able to purchase decks, as well completes (which come with trucks, bearings, wheels and grip tape). Decks can also be purchased with hanging hardware, so as to display them on a wall.
