Archie Books Headed to Nintendo Switch's InkyPen Comics

Archie Comics is heading to the Nintendo Switch's InkyPens comic subscription service.

The upcoming app will allow readers to check out entire libraries of comics from various publishers. The service is set to launch simultaneously in the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Russia, Africa and Australia for the price of $7.99 (or the local currency). Doing so will allow the Nintendo Switch owners to read a truly massive number of comics for a minimal fee -- and now, another publisher has announced that they will join the service.

On the publisher's official Twitter account, Archie Comics announced that they will join the subscription service. The various stories and series published by Archie Comics will join a number of other publishers including IDW, Dynamite, Valiant, Les Humanoïdes Associés and Andrews McMeel. The service will offer over 10,000 comics to their subscribers, ranging from family-friendly series to darker material. Joining the service will allow Switch owners to be able to read through comics either on the handheld version of the Switch or directly through their television screen.

The service will officially premiere on the Nintendo Switch next week on Sunday, December 17.
