FXX's hit animated series Archer returned for its eleventh season, with its protagonist Sterling Archer finally emerging from a coma he endured for the past three seasons.

FXX released a teaser for the season's third episode, titled "Helping Hands," showing Archer crashing into a top-secret infiltration mission conducted by Lana and Cyril. Although Lana and Cyril are impressed by Archer's ability to elude all security systems within the facility (despite missing the mission briefing), armed reinforcements quickly surround them.

During Archer's Season 7 finale, Archer was put into a coma, paving the way for Seasons 8 through Season 10 to be vivid hallucinations in varying worlds that are all taking place within Archer's mind. In the final moments of last year's tenth season, Archer finally woke to find the world moved on without him during the past three years. Archer Season 11 was planned to premiere in May before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused its arrival to be pushed to September.

Starring the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Lucky Yates and Jessica Walter, the 11th season of Archer airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FXX.
